Do you wonder, How to Master the art of identifying the essential aspects of life and settle them in their appropriate places for a Peaceful and Happy life? –Well worry no more.
Life’s lesson –learn it well before it is too late -Shiva
Materialistic attachments, relationship bondage, desires and needs, pleasure and pain, excitement and suffering, mundane routine and vanilla. Every aspect we encounter in our lives have their respective places. It is essential to identify them and learn when and how they fall into their respective places.
Especially, our emotions have their places, misplaced emotions cause pain, grief, and suffering.
Emotions during, celebrations, viz: Festivals, Marriages, get-togethers, Birthday Parties, etc., tend to erupt excitement, happiness, in extreme cases erupt Joy.
Irrespective of the emotions overdose of emotions (Sorrow or Happiness) can lead to health upsetting conditions and even cause heart seasures. Haven’t we come across people dying of heat attacks right after an exciting event like a marriage or after a grandchild’s birth?
Loss of a family member can upset emotions and certainly fall out of their place. One must learn the ways of setting these emotions into their places. While carefully handling such scenarios.
Imagine a puzzle board, every individual piece has its distinctive place, if misplaced the puzzle board is incomplete. Similarly, every aspect of our life is essential for our survival. Significantly, have their characteristic roles to play, however, they must fall in place for a successful and peaceful life.
How can we identify aspects of life and set their relevant places?
Well, let’s First understand what are the essential aspects and how to put them in their appropriate places.
The three basic needs Viz.,: “food, clothing and shelter”.
Food
Gone all the days of eating healthy food for survival habits– find naturally available fresh food nourishments. What prevails is the habits of satisfying taste buds, whether they are healthy or unhealthy is not a concern any more. With such unhealthy eating habits, we can clearly witness that the food aspects are way out of place.
Imagine bringing a full 24-course meal all three meals, is certainly unhealthy and there are higher possibilities of up-setting your health conditions, such food habits are certainly out of place. One healthy lunch, one simple breakfast and one simple dinner–the entire day’s diet course that keeps you healthy and sufficiently nourished, such food habits are certainly in place.
One must avoid overeating to overcome unhealthier food habits, cutting loose on junk food and burdening the digestive system unnecessarily certainly, the food habits are way out of place.
Clothing
The custom of wearing clothes began as to cover, and protect the naked skin from harsh weather conditions. However, clothing has become more a style statement, and status symbol rather than a simple protecting appliance. Clothing also stands as a symbol and demonstrates the richness of a culture and heritage.
Our ancestors began to cover the essential parts of the body with simple leaves and we have evolved to sophisticated modern times clothing. Clothing costs range from simple nominal costs to celebrity’s custom clothing which are super expensive, too far a reach for a layman even to dream them let alone about buying them.
Want to own world-class clothing has slipped its entry into their desires list with higher priority. Many struggle and toil their lives just to buy the most expensive clothes and flaunt their affordability. Failing to afford such expensive clothes certainly, leads to disappointments and torment. Such wants and desires are the demonstration of clothing aspects being way out of their places. It is essential to reconsider putting it back in its place by – keeping the clothing simple and elegant.
Sheltering
Our social status will hold us back from living on the roads and certainly is not our style. Which is fare. Every family aims to dwell in a safe and secured shelter, to protect themselves from harsh weather conditions and city threats such as robberies, and physical assaults, and to evade such undesired circumstances which are survival instincts and are quite natural.
However, sheltering falls out of place when one is caught up in the desire for expensive luxurious houses which demands exorbitant financials. Getting fixed upon living in extravagant shelters that flash premium price tags, setting it all up and maintaining the lifestyle demands massive financial backing.
Arranging such financial support for sustaining demands to jump back on the tracks to run in the race –like most of us are engaged in for a lifetime staking our lives just to live that luxury life. The aspect falls out of its place.
Money
Now for the aspect that has miserably fallen out of its place and is tricky to set it back in its place – The Money
Money, the very sound of it chills our bones, and alters emotions –some get excited while to others cause grief. Society has pushed us into its clutches and the entire world operates on it – it has become one of the essential factors. Money, today has become an integral part of almost everyone’s lives.
Money is essential for trading, buying commodities, business transactions, importing and exporting goods, availing services, etc..
We can buy products and commodities in exchange for money. Agencies and individual professionals offer their services in exchange for money.
Things that we can carry out with money include – Buy daily essentials, clothing, shelter, assets, properties, investing in businesses, etc., The possibilities are endless.
Countries indulge in international business transactions in exchange for money apart from natural resources. Transactions numbers churn in Billions and Trillions. Such is the spread of money from a simple transaction of buying fruits to countries massive transactions across the globe all happen in exchange for money. Nothing can move without money today. What a miserable state we have put ourselves into.
To eat a decent meal today you need money. Gone are all the days of the barter system, where businesses used to take place without the involvement of money. People used to work on farms and relish the food served after work. Now Money is overshadowing such innocence.
The business took place in exchange for commodities, goods, etc, it’s so intricate yet so beautiful, our ancestors lived lives with such simplicity and an inclusive system.
Money has infested every possible aspect of the world. Society functioning without money is even an unimaginable condition. We, humans, have trapped ourselves in it and are rooted too deeply, it would be a miracle if we could negate the money factor out of life’s equation.
Our lives are being strangled by money, everything we do in the current situation boils down to money. For Instance: Executives work in corporate companies assuming to get paid better, but corporates often tend to squees employees even till the last drop of blood from their employees leaving them high and dry, employees invariably become vulnerable to such tortures. Earning that money to cover EMIs, pay rent, and phone bills, and spend on other survival essentials.
Business people on the other hand diversify their businesses and create multiple sources of income to multiply their finances, to become rich, richer, and richest, and never they get to the point where enough is enough. Because possessing money a lot of money is one of the deadliest forms of addiction there is, settling down and being content is out of the question.
We have fallen slaves to Money and everything associated with it. Happily let money control our lives with the notion that the rich can afford a king-size lifestyle.
How to put money in its place?
Similar to other aspects of life which have their respective places, money also has its distinctive place. Here is how you can assign its place.
How much money would you need for your survival? Which is subjective and varies from one individual to another and depends mainly on the living standards. However, you can identify the amount of money essential for your survival and that is your lower threshold, work to earn that and enjoy the rest of the time, instead of over-burdening yourself just living a fancy life. While giving money it’s the appropriate place.
Another incidence which requires money in its place is buying a house, and estimating if you can afford a house without much loan. If you cannot afford a house, it is advised to avoid indulging in long-term EMI commitments throwing your financial freedom at stake. Carefully manage your finances and aim to live a debt-free life which is a wise practice.
Power
Recent buzzing news was Russia’s attack on Ukraine or North Korea’s President Kim Jong Un controlling the people of the country and treating them like slaves. North Korean citizens have no right to say anything.
In either case, it is a clear demonstration of misplaced Powers and misplaced egos of egomaniacs.
Power is a wrong tool in the hands of Ego Maniacs and power mongers, power slaves. The outcome certainly is –Wars, Chaos, and Disorder.
World Wars were fought to entice the egos of the Egoestic maniacs, Power Slaves, misusing their powers. The world is led by the money lenders who are major control freaks who want to control the world, The way it functions, what the younger generation must see, and learn, and ways to live and evolve as machines which work as instructed by these control freaks. These influence on mega-scale causing mass-effect.
Powers are misplaced even on individual levels –political leaders, Bureaucrats, Officers of public service departments, and corporate officials bullying over their juniors and associates misuse their powers and certainly is the display of misplaced powers.
Government offices are another classical example of how officials abuse their powers, none of your work will be done unless you bribe these government workers. Right from a clerk to higher officers are corrupt which is a clear indication of misuse of their official powers. And is a demonstration of powers out of its place – efforts to put it back in its place can result in failed efforts.
In our country Corruption’s roots have grown to deeper levels and also have spread wide.
How would you utilise your powers?
Imagine yourself working in a corporate company as an operations manager. How would you treat your subordinates and your juniors? Would you misuse your powers? How honest would you remain in a corrupt institution?
The society can remain corrupt, and that is how it has conditioned itself to exist.
With such powers, it is wise to remain honest with yourself. Corrupt maniacs are cheapsters who suffer from “Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)” lowering their self-esteem to even unimaginable levels.
They are like the viral infection in the society in which we dwell, and the viruses’ nature is to destroy the system from within.
Similarly, the core moto of these maniacs is extremely selfish and can go to any extent to influence and control the innocent society with their misplaced powers.
Emotions
Emotion is one factor that makes us humans what we are; although, animals, birds, plants, trees, and aquatic species, every living species on the earth have their distinctive emotions.
Living species express their emotions in their own remarkable ways. For instance, pet dogs are emotionally attached to their masters, respectively, and suffer in the absence of their masters and get excited every time they see the master.
Birds are paired for their lifetime, and their bondages last for their life span, In the absence of its partner a bird stops eating, and suffers from grief -the separation can even push it to show its withdrawal symptoms. Similarly, a mother can understand the cry of her child, her simple touch establishes a connection to understand what the baby is experiencing. Such are the intricate threads of emotions of living species.
Human emotions are the most complicated ones in nature. Our emotions can only be predicted, minds’ intellectual levels stop here, and machines can not recognise the emotions that the brain has to bubble up. Science is very young to identify and recognise the emotions that the brain is capable of producing. The Brain has been in perpetual progress ever since Humans were born.
We have evolved creatures who have lost the connections of recognising fellow homosapines’ emotions. Thanks to Money, and Science man’s invention overshadows the world, giving little or no space for emotions.
Emotions heavily influence human lives and change according to the circumstances involved in, for instance: celebrations, achievements, get-togethers etc., -induce happy, joyful, positive emotions.
Negative emotions such as – Anxiety, insecurity, fear, suffering, anger frustration, shame, jealousy, sadness, and hatred are induced when things don’t produce desired outcomes, failures, the losses caused by someone’s death and when things don’t go according to your plan then negative emotions erupt sometime even lead to your suffering and deep sorrow.
Imagine when a business suffers a tremendous loss, I’ve come across such circumstances and the business owners sometimes even suffer from depression, and in the worst cases fall victim to suicide. Recovering from it is a miracle.
What would be the emotional condition of a person who perpetually undergoes failures? If you are one of them, then certainly you can resonate with facts that are being furnished.
Agreed, when we perpetually undergo failures beyond our threshold then it is in our nature to carry heavy negative energies, and remorse and be ashamed of the failures. Completely misplacing emotions.
Are your emotions out of place? Are you emotionally disturbed and are you experiencing symptoms of negative energy building up from such events? Are you finding it hard to overcome them? Are you seeking emotional support or guidance?
What are the symptoms of negative emotions? What are the remedies to overcome them and how to stay positive? Let us discuss them.
Although the effects of negative energies are high and alter emotions, overshadow the positive aspects of life. The symptoms of negative energies are quite evident it is quite essential to keep them under check, with intensified negative emotions that can severely ruin your mental health and peace.
Some of the most common symptoms include -hypertension, a short temper, insensitive, insecurity, fear, anxiety, restlessness, jealousy, feeling sad and suffering, and ultimately falling victim to depression.
These are the most common symptoms of people who tend to carry negative emotions within themselves.
People suffering from negative emotional disorders are short-tempered and can become angry even for the silliest reasons; outcomes are quite annoying at times.
Similarly, people with anxiety and hesitation tend to become introverts, sad, and pessimists positivity does not exist in their dictionary. Even if their presence can induce negativity in other people, it is better to keep them far from getting influenced and keep moving ahead. Keeping your emotions in place.
Trust
Trust is a very fragile human factor and is often misused, for instance: corrupt political leaders misuse the trust of citizens of a country. Citizens invest their trust and elect leaders who portray as honest leaders who aim to uplift the country and provide world-class amenities to support the lives of the citizens.
Trust is one of the essential factors which drives the world/society. Businesses thrive on the consumers’ trust in the brand and their products. Building that trust is the key factor in brand marketing. Trustable products often tend to have higher sales volume than the ones with lesser trust levels.
Corporate organisations function based on employees’ trust. The employees too invest their trust in their seniors and higher officials to provide a secure, friendly and expandable working environment. Misplaced mutual trust, organisations tend to miserably collapse.
Some organisations misuse the employees’ trust in their employers. Gullible employees are taken on a corporate slavery ride, manipulating the vulnerability of their innocence.
Spiritual leaders/Gurus often exploit their innocent students’ and followers’ surrendered trust, which gets manipulated for the personal benefit of the Guru.
Mr. Jaggivasudev a spiritual leader and self-proclaimed Sudhguru, is a classic example of how a Guru or sage can misuse the trust of their followers, and often tend to monetise it to his benefit. One-way beneficial contracts must be signed when stepping forward to volunteer in the organisation he has built. Volunteers end up in miserable circumstances due to the torturous culture driving the volunteers to a state of Suffering, Grief and Guilt. All done to misuse the innocent trust, miserably misplacing the trust.
Nityananda takes advantage of the invested trust of his followers. A controversial man who claims that he has the power to initiate Kundalini, and even sexually abuse and misuse the trust to his advantage to gain control of individuals -physically and psychologically.
A child’s trust in its mother or a child’s trust in their parents for providing the essentials like shelter, food and clothing. Buy new clothes and sweets during festivals though it might appear to be simple, the trust factor is quite evident.
Consumers trust a brand and blindly use the products the brand has to introduce. Businesses function on consumers’ trust. Brands shell out Millions and Billions of Dollars just to build consumers’ trust in their brand. Once the trust breaks for any reason it is almost impossible to revert it, hence brands carefully play the trust game and stringently maintain their products’ guidelines and standards, that way consumers tend to retain their trust and keep their trust in place.
In today’s canny lifestyle, men-women relationships tend to get complicated. Let us discuss it in detail in the next section.
Relationships
We humans are gregarious animals and love social company. Relationships bring people together; whereas solitaire-natured people tend to live alone, and enjoy the loneliness which doesn’t mean they don’t want to indulge in a relationship.
Some introverts prefer to live alone and don’t easily open up with people and build relationships. Whereas extroverts are savvy at building rapport and relationships, and is a cakewalk for them, most people with such nature enjoy the attention they get under the spotlight.
Every human interaction creates relationships some are personal and some are official. It is hard to imagine human communication occurring without a relationship.
Although, in certain cases the relationship is short-lived, the relationship exists indeed. For Instance: a conversation with a customer support executive lasts as long as the call.
While certain relationship lasts for a lifetime, like a relationship with parents, relationships with siblings and other relatives, men and Women indulge in a relationship, and married couples indulge in a committed relationship which lasts for a lifetime as husband and wife. The ultimate form of relationship with long-term commitment is the Mother-Son or Mother-Daughter relationship and the bondage lasts till the parents’ death. Irrespective of the form of a relationship, it is essential to keep it in place for a happy, joyfully committed relationship.
In the case of misplaced relationships among men and women often lead to clashing egos, jealousy, dubious relationships, and adultery has become among partners. Today’s trend is to live single – and carry the grief and sufferings of raising the children as single parents.
We Hindus religiously believed and lived together in a “Joint Family system” with people of many generations living under one roof and flourishing as one family such is the beauty of relationships, families living together with a common intention. Cultural, richness is worthy of inducing jealousy in foreign nations, especially the Westerns who admire the meticulously woven intricate co-living system yet every individual family member lives with their individual space respectively.
In modern times, thanks to the influences of Western culture which overshadow our intricate Hindu system. Our relationship system is being miserably destroyed by Globalisation and modern technological advancements. Throwing the relationships way out of its place.
Conclusion:
Everything we come across in our lives has their respective places. Recognising it and assigning them their respective places; demands sensitivity and courage to carry out the essential actions.
Aspects such as emotions, money, relationships, power, trust, and even, our daily essentials such as -food, shelter, clothing, finances, etc., have their places. It is crucial to understand where they naturally fall in place and act accordingly rather than losing life running after things that have little or no importance. Assigning them their right places – Get your act together.
Misplaced human aspects can tremendously affect human lives. Cause emotional imbalance, psychological suffering, and physical health upsets.
Monetary misplacement affects financial conditions, largely hampering financial freedom, which in turn creates mental imbalances and ruins mental health and peace.
